Terms & Disclaimer

Who this applies to

These terms apply to anyone using WaterReady.co.uk, operated by Focus Aura LTD. By using the site, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What WaterReady is — and isn't

WaterReady is an independent calculator that applies published UK government and scientific guidance to your household's own details, to estimate how much water you might want to have on hand. It is not operated or endorsed by the UK Government, your water company, or any emergency service, and it is not a substitute for:

This tool is for getting ready beforehand, not for responding to a supply that's already off.

No warranty

The calculator is provided "as is." While the figures it uses are drawn from published sources (see Official sources), we don't guarantee the results are complete, accurate for your specific circumstances, or suitable for every household. You're responsible for using your own judgement, and for confirming anything safety-critical (particularly medical or care-related water needs) with a qualified professional.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Focus Aura LTD is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of WaterReady.co.uk or reliance on the figures it produces. This doesn't affect any liability that can't legally be excluded or limited. It also doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights when you buy our digital products.

Buying digital downloads

WaterReady sells digital products: the printable Household Water Plan, the water rotation labels and fridge card, the Boil Water Notice Pack and the UK Household Emergency Binder. They are sold by Focus Aura LTD. Prices are shown on each product page and at checkout, and payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details.

Delivery

Your products are available straight after payment on your order page, where you can print your plan or download your PDFs. Please bookmark that page: its link is how you get back to your downloads. If a download doesn't work, email us and we'll sort it out.

Your right to cancel

When you buy online you normally have 14 days to cancel. For digital content that is supplied straight away, that right ends once supply starts, but only if you have agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you will lose the right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 37). That's why we ask you to tick a box confirming both before checkout, and we confirm it in the invoice we email you after payment. If you don't tick the box, we can't supply the product immediately. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out when we will and won't refund.

If something is wrong with your download

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, you're entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a price reduction. Email hello@waterready.co.uk with the email address you used at checkout and tell us what's wrong. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

What the products are

Our products apply published official guidance to your household. Every source is listed in the product, with the date we checked it. Guidance, phone numbers and compensation rules can change, so check the source if something looks different. The products don't replace instructions from your water company, energy network or the emergency services during a live incident.

Personal use

Your purchase is for your own household's personal use. Please don't resell, share publicly or redistribute the files.

Some product links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy something after clicking one, at no extra cost to you.
