Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
What this covers
This policy applies to paid digital products bought directly from WaterReady.co.uk through our checkout (for example a personalised Water Plan, a labels add-on, or the UK Household Emergency Binder). It does not cover anything you buy from a third-party retailer after clicking an affiliate link on this site — those purchases are covered entirely by that retailer's own refund policy, not ours.
These are instant-access digital products
Every product covered by this policy is delivered to you immediately, digitally — there's no physical item and no waiting period. Under UK law (the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013), you'd normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase for a refund. For digital content, that right ends early if you explicitly agree to start accessing the content straight away and acknowledge that doing so means you lose the right to cancel.
That's the model we use: before you pay, you tick a box confirming that you want immediate access and that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel once your purchase has been supplied. If you don't tick that box, you can't continue to checkout. After payment, we email you an invoice that confirms you gave this consent.
When we will refund you
We'll refund a purchase, even after delivery, if:
- You were charged twice for the same order, or charged the wrong amount, due to a technical error
- The file or product you received is genuinely faulty (for example, it won't open, or key content is missing) and we can't fix it within a reasonable time
- You didn't actually get access to what you paid for (for example, your order page or download won't load and we can't fix it)
Contact us at hello@waterready.co.uk with your order details and we'll sort it out.
When we won't refund you
Because you'll have explicitly agreed to instant access and waived the standard 14-day cancellation right, we won't refund a purchase just because you changed your mind, misread what a product covered before buying, or no longer want it after downloading it.
Your other rights aren't affected
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — for example, your right to digital content that's as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
