Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Short version

Some of the product links on WaterReady are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This is how the site is funded; using the calculator itself is always free.

Which programmes we use

• Amazon Associates UK: for the products linked from the calculator's results and our blog posts

How we pick products

Products are chosen for their relevance to UK household water preparedness — for example, whether a filter is actually rated to remove viruses, or whether a listed capacity is in litres rather than US gallons — not by which one pays the highest commission. We flag known limitations of specific products where we're aware of them (for example, a filter that doesn't remove certain contaminants), rather than only listing their strengths.

Nothing changes for you

Clicking an affiliate link takes you to the retailer's own site, where their own pricing, availability, and checkout apply — you never pay more by going through our link. Once you leave WaterReady, that retailer's own privacy policy and terms apply, not ours.
